Adding GX440 Devices with Long Serial Numbers to an AMM

When adding GX440 devices to a hosted AMM, a message may appear indicating that the serial number format doesn't match the AMM's expected format. To work around this, try adding the GX440 devices to the AMM before the devices check in with the server.

For customers with an on-premise AMM that have access to "All gateways", this procedure may not be necessary. However, the serial number displayed may be truncated.
