What is an MEID?

An MEID (Mobile Equipment Identifier) is the equivalent of an ESN (electronic serial number). Verizon Wireless in particular now uses them instead of the ESN for LTE devices. The MEID is printed on the bottom label of the GX440.

IMEI, MEID, and ESN are the same.
