Setting up an additional SSID on an oMG's WLAN (e.g. for a guest) requires the following setup of virtual wireless access:
  1. Log in to the LCI. Note: it is best to connect using either a cellular connection or Ethernet, because you will be modifying the local hotspot which will log you out of the system when you save.
  2. Navigate to LAN->Access Points->Configure.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and enable Virtual BSSID1. This displays the options for setting up the SSID. Note that you can create three extra SSIDs for your WiFi device.
  4. Uncheck the Auto SSID field and enter a virtual SSID name.
  5. Click the Save button when finished configuring,
  6. If you wish to change the IP range that others (e.g. guests) connect to:
    1. Navigate to LAN->LAN Segments.
    2. Click Add New LAN Segment.
    3. Fill in the details of the new LAN segment.
  7. To assign the guest SSID to the new LAN segment, use the drop down menu in the Actions column to change the Default LAN to the new LAN segment.
  8. Click Apply Changes.
