The Qualcomm chipsets indicated above have only one physical USB RMNET interface available. This brings challenges to multiple PDN support required by M2M customers. These chipsets provide QMAP protocol, which is used to multiplex IP traffic from multiple host network interfaces over a single USB RMNET interface.

This document explains the FW, Linux QMI driver and Linux QMI SDK based host application updates needed to support multiple PDNs over a single USB RMNET interface.
