1. New Features

  • JamSoftLib: Jamming Detection service is available through AT command interface. This library is called by Sample JamSoft and ExtendedAT Application.
  • WIPSSL: WipSSL provides the ability to retrieve subject fields from peer certificate (Common Name, Country, State/Province name, Locality name, Organization name, Organizational unit name). This feature is available in beta stage.

4. Interface modifications

This section lists the interfaces modifications introduced in Security Library 1.16.

wip_sslOption_e

New values available for extracting all available information from Peer certificate. Specifically “CommonName”.

wip_SSLReleaseSession2

New API is provided to release the handle on a SSL session. This API accepts a pointer to handle on the session used by the SSL channel as its argument.API wip_SSLReleaseSession(), which was used earlier for this purpose now makes a call to this new API.
