The Smart Automation Engine is a Sierra Wireless Open AT automation application (remote control & monitoring), remotely configurable from AirVantage Portal. It allows non embedded software developers to configure the embedded application behavior using the UI of the AirVantage portal.

Requirements

  • AirLink FXT device
  • Open AT firmware 7.45

Installation instructions

  • Download the .dwl file attached
  • Connect your PC with your device using the serial link
  • Open a serial terminal "emulator " like TeraTermPro or HyperTerminal (set serial baudrate to 115200)
  • Type AT command AT+WDWL and transfert the AgentAT.dwl file to the target using XModem protocol
  • Restart the device with AT command AT+CFUN=1
  • The Smart Automation Engine can be started by typing AT+WOPEN=1
