AirVantage 3 Development Tools

AirVantage development tools is a set of Eclipse based tooling to ease the development of m2m applications on top of AirVantage cloud platform. It is composed of: AirVantage Platform API development tools, AirVantage Configuration tools & AirVantage Device Simulator.

AirVantage Platform API Development Tools

AirVantage Platform API tools helps you discover the AirVantage platform APIs and create M2M applications based on it.

To discover the API we provide 3 sample projects in Java, PHP and .Net. They demonstrate how to use the SOAP and REST APIs.

AirVantage Device Simulator

AirVantage Device Simulator helps you simulate a real m2m device connected to AirVantage platform.

AirVantage Configuration Tools

The configuration tools helps the developer to configure the various models of its m2m application and tune the Operating Portal for the usage of its customers.

The configuration of the AirVantage Operating Portal can be performed through a set of XML configuration files. Editing capabilities are provided by the Configuration Tools for each configuration file :

• Platform Models
  •  Asset Model
  •  Manufacturer Model
  •  Customer Model

• Application Descriptors
  •  Asset Application Descriptor
  •  Device Application Descriptor

•  Profile Model : An instance of a template is called a Profile. A customer may create one or more profiles and assign these to devices
