We’re pleased to announce General Availability of ALEOS 4.9.4 for the GX450 and ES450. This is a maintenance release and includes fixes for a range of security and field-reported issues including:

  • 2019 GPS Time Rollover: GPS time will roll back on April 6 2019 and this will begin to impact GPS-enabled GX450s on November 3 2019. All GPS enabled GX450s must upgrade to this release prior to November 3 to ensure proper operation after this date.
    Note: Failing to upgrade to this release before the rollover can lead to issues with location reporting as well as systemic issues such as loss of connection with management systems and invalidation of certificates.
  • Wi-Fi Key Reinstallation Attacks (KRACK): Addresses vulnerabilities in the WPA and WPA2 standard.
