For Windows use the one click updater exe files. This will update both the PRI (carrier provisioning file) and the firmware.
For Linux use the CWE-NVU packages or the SPK files in conjunction with the ‘Firmware_Download’ application (or equivalent API’s in an application) contained in the Linux SDK SampleApps
(if you do not have access to this please speak to your commercial contact)
- The firmware is the .CWE file and the .NVU is the carrier provisioning PRI file.
- The SPK file is an operator approved, combined PRI and firmware file. Generally it is recommended to use this to ensure a unit has an approved combination.
The packages below are large as they contain all of the specified files (as detailed in the table below) for the specified unit.

This document describes proprietary, password-protected AT commands available for Sierra Wireless AirPrime® MC 9x15-based intelligent embedded modules. These commands are intended for use by OEMs, and are supplemental to the standard AT commands for GSM devices defined by the 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project) in TS 27.007 AT command set for User Equipment (UE) and TS 27.005 Use of Data Terminal Equipment—Data Circuit terminating Equipment (DTE-DCE) interface for Short Message Service (SMS) and Cell Broadcast Service (BSE).
