The Location Library eases the integration process of GPS functionalities with AirPrime wireless modules using Open AT Application Framework OS by driving the AirPrime SL808x built-in gpsOne. It facilitates integration, minimizes memory footprint requirements, and reduces the cost of the complete design.

When you use built-in gpsOne in combination with your AirPrime SL808x wireless module, your application does not need to handle low level interfacing with the GPS chipset - the Location Library performs this task.

The AirPrime SL808x with its built-in gpsOne receives the GPS signal, performs the preliminary processing, and brings the ability to get positioning data from the wireless module. The application executed on the module can benefits from the available location data.
