Changing the Default Password

For system security reasons, ensure that you change the default administrator password.

The default password is printed on the device label. You can also scan it from the QR code on the label.

Changing the administrator password in AirLink OS also updates the password used to access device configuration in AirLink Management Service.

To change the administrator password in AirLink OS:

1. Go to System > User Accounts > Local.

   

2. Enter the CURRENT PASSWORD.
3. Enter a NEW PASSWORD. The new password must be at least 10 characters long and meet a minimum of 3 criteria as follows:
   • at least 1 uppercase letter
   • at least 1 lowercase letter
   • at least 1 digit
   • at least 1 non-alphanumeric character.
4. Click CHANGE PASSWORD.
