    Duplicate Upgrade Operation Blocking Further Operations

    For AMM version 2.17.1, it is possible to create identical upgrade operations more than once on the same device.

    When this occurs, the first upgrade will complete successfully. However the second upgrade will become stuck on In Progress. This will block all other operations that are added later on the same device.

    To resolve this, the user needs to manually cancel and then delete the second upgrade operation, so that it unblocks the queue and allows the following scheduled operations to go ahead.

    To cancel the second upgrade operation,

    1. Navigate to the Admin > Operations menu in the AMM.
    2. Select the second upgrade operation(s) that is stuck at In Progress.
    3. Click Cancel.
    4. Confirm that the Affected Workflow is correct.
    5. Click Submit to cancel the workflow.

    To delete the second upgrade operation,

    1. Navigate to the Admin > Operations menu in the AMM.
    2. Select the second upgrade operation(s) that needs to be deleted.
    3. Click Delete.
    4. Confirm that the Affected Workflow is correct.
    5. Click Submit to delete the workflow.
