Location of Filter and Option Fields
Filter Option
Displays a popup allowing you to filter the dashboard based on the type of device Platform and Cellular Capability.
Filter Text Field
Filters gateways by name or group name. In addition to selecting a group of gateways from the gateway tree, the Filter Text field allows users to further filter selections by entering part or all of the gateway or gateway group name.
Once the filter text has been entered or changed, click on Search to initiate the search request.
Time Period
Select a time period from the drop down list. Only gateways which have reported data to the AMM (over a WAN) within the selected time period will be displayed on the map. This allows users to quickly find and manage only those gateways which are active.
Note that when selecting Previous months as 1, it will show the previous month information. E.g. If it is February, then it will show January’s data.
Nominal Events
Nominal events include any event where a threshold is exceeded. See Thresholds for further details.
Use the nominal events icons to display the gateways for the defined thresholds.
The colored square are defined as follows:
- Green: operating normally within the thresholds
- Blue: no data available
- Yellow: warning level threshold exceeded
- Red: error level threshold exceeded The Default setting has the Green, Yellow, and Red events on for all gateways.
Data Views
Provides the following views:
- List View: Displays the default view for the dashboard. Each parameter is presented in columns, with each gateway appearing as a single row.
- Graph View: Displays the same parameters as the List view but represented in graphical form.
- Threshold View: Displays a list of thresholds and the number of devices that have reported each. Each threshold listed can be expanded by clicking … to show the devices.

Auto Refresh
Toggles automatic refreshing of the current view.
Export to Excel
Exports the data from the current Data View to a .csv file.
Refresh
Forces the current Data View to refresh.
Show Table Grid
Toggles table grid on and off.
Column Selection
The Columns field on the far right of the Dashboard can be used to filter what information is displayed in the Dashboard. See Dashboard for more information about the Columns button.
