The Statistics Graph displays stat values from vehicle log files and graphs the results over time. This report is available for both MG and ALEOS devices.
Note:
- The Statistic Graph report is supported for ALEOS devices in AMM 2.15 and above.
- This is an advanced report that is only made available to users who have a deep understanding of the information contained within gateway log files.
The table below provides information on how some of the common stats are reported.
Information for Common Stats
Stat | Reporting Information |
---|---|
LinkX-IPAddress | Reports changes to the IP address for the specified time period. |
RemoteSocketAddress |
The IP address of the gateway as viewed by the AMM. Only applicable for ALEOS gateways. This is the IP address that the AMM uses to communicate with the ALEOS gateway. Depending on what intermediate translation(s) take place between the gateway and AMM, the IP address might be different from what the gateway itself sees (i.e. the IP address value depends on how the ALEOS Gateway’s original IP gets translated (i.e. NAT’d) by intermediate routers/firewalls/etc. before it reaches the AMM). Note that the IP address shown in ACEmanager is before all the NAT activities occurred. |
Reserved0-IPaddress | The actual WAN address of the device. For ALEOS devices this value should match that shown in ACEmanager. |
GPS Location-zone | Shows the zone(s) defined. |
GPS Location-miles | The number of miles travelled in a given day. |
ConfigSyncedStatus | Keeps track of when the last time the config was confirmed. A value is only reported if a change has been made since the last sync with the AMM. |
ConfigurationState |
The state of gateway configuration on the AMM relative to the configuration on the gateway, which can be one of the following for ALEOS gateways:
A value is only reported if a change has been made since the last sync with the AMM. |
SoftwareVersion | The software version reported by the gateway. |
Basic Configuration Fields
Condition: specifies the filter criteria on a stat’s subkey (label) that is used as a condition to query for results. Examples of how to use the Condition field
The format of the Condition field is
statname operator value
E.g. If you want to show a graph of the MainBattery, where the MainBattery is less than 12V, the Condition will be MainBattery < 12.
The Condition field filter is applied to the raw data received from the device.
If your UI is set to display in km/hr, then you will need to convert the value to mph(miles per hour) as the device sends its speed values in mph.
Convert to unit/second: when selected, the report will perform a rate calculation.
Remove vehicles with no data during report period: when selected, the report will not display any vehicles for which no data could be found in the log files for the specified reporting period.
Remove dates where no vehicles have reported: when selected, the report will leave out dates for which no vehicle data exists in the log files.
Ignore zero values: when selected, the report will leave out stats which have a value of 0 in the log files.
Access stats DB if report files come up empty: when selected, the report will use information from the internal stats database instead of event files.
Output Format: select HTML to generate the report in the browser window. Select Excel to display the generated report in Microsoft Excel. Note that the Excel option only works for reports which produce data in a table format.
Save for later or schedule a run time: enable to create reports that can be saved for future use. See Saving and Scheduling a Report for a Later Run Time for more information.
