    Configuring Zone Services

Defining Zone Services explicitly makes it easier to group and organize network traffic. This allows you to more easily implement targeted rules and policies at the zone level. Zone Services are used in Multi-WAN Policies and in Firewall Rules.

SYSTEM SERVICES are created by the system automatically and are not directly configurable. Default services, such as network protocols, are pre-defined and cannot be edited.

Additional services can be added in the SERVICES table.

    To configure a SERVICE:

    1. Go to Networking > Zones Settings > Services.

    2. Under the SERVICES table, click CREATE.

    3. Enter a SERVICE NAME.

    4. Select the TRANSPORT PROTOCOL.

    5. Enter one or more PORT NUMBER(S). To add multiple port numbers, press ENTER after entering each number.

    6. Click CREATE.
