    How to view VPN status

The VPN status page shows you the state of VPN tunnels for your fleet of devices. At a glance, you can identify which devices have operational VPN tunnels, and which devices might need your attention.

VPN status monitoring is supported for AirLink OS-powered routers running software version 5.0 or later on ALMS + Connectivity (ALMSC) accounts. The VPN status page reports information for IPsec and OpenVPN tunnel protocols.

Limited VPN monitoring is available for AirLink OS-powered routers running software earlier than 5.0. VPN status will show whether tunnels are enabled/disabled, but will not correctly display the VPN tunnel name, VPN type, or state.

    Viewing VPN Status

To view the VPN status of your fleet, go to Monitor > VPN.

The VPN status table shows you VPN information for all AirLink OS-powered routers in your account.

To update the table, you must manually refresh the page.

You can also click Export CSV to download the table as a .csv file. The .csv file will contain status information for all columns in the table, and will contain full details (state, rekey time and life time) for each Child SA in the Children column, as shown below.

For information about configuring VPN in AirLink OS, see the AirLink OS documentation.

Filtering, Showing and Sorting Table Data

You can use the filter above the table to locate specific systems, VPN tunnel types, or other criteria.

You cannot filter the table for Children or Last update.

You can sort data and show/hide table columns as shown below.

You cannot sort the Children column.
